Do I really have to know how to play a harmonica and magnetic poetry? I think I'm content with just escaping reality. So sorry I responded to your letters so late. I just couldn't bring myself to bring myself out of everybody else to respond. When you first wrote those letters, I was nowhere in existence. My mother had just started Hugh school. No doubt you would have loved her. Nobody else did though. I guess in many ways she and you and I are all wallflowers that somehow bloom out the other side of the wall, where all the people we want to participate in life with can't see. We bloom into space without limitations. Our petals relish the savory silkiness of sun's smooth touch.
But I'm not here to talk about who we could become. Or who we were. All that matters is who we are. Past the labels and the habits. Past the words and emojis (sorry, you are aged now. So you understand that, I hope. ) that we use because of someone that we often hang around uses them.
Who are we?
I don't know who I am. No doubt by now you know who you are. I hope I grow up to see who I am. (Unfortunately, I have to first deal with antidepressants. )
I wonder if you still feel infinite.
I do sometimes.
But most times I want to feel finite. To feel whole. Finite. To feel there. Actually, to simply feel.
Music is the only bridge I use to get there.
